Andrew’s investment experience at Platinum has included managing/co-managing the Platinum International Technology Fund, the Platinum Asia Fund and the Platinum International Fund. He currently co-manages Platinum’s global strategies and Asia ex-Japan strategies. Andrew took over the role of Chief Executive Officer of the Platinum Group in July 2018.
Joseph Lai - 2004 2020

Joseph spent 17 years at Platinum Asset Management, in which he was the Portfolio Manager for the Platinum Asia Fund, Head of Asia Equities Research and a member of the Management Committee of Platinum. On the investment side he was responsible for the management of Asia portfolios and the Asia Team as well as contributing to the idea generation of broader global portfolios. Joseph was previously covering Healthcare stocks as an analyst at Morgan Stanley and worked as a Medical Doctor prior to that. He holds a degree in Master of Business Administration (AGSM), Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (U Syd) and is a CFA Charterholder.
