The fund invests in the fixed income markets of developed countries across the globe. It invests directly and also through derivatives such as futures contracts in the US Dollar denominated, fixed-rate, corporate bonds issued by industrials, utilities, and financial companies and which are hedged against the interest rate risk and with a remaining time to maturity of 3 years and 6 months. The fund invests in the investment grade securities that are rated as BBB- and above by S&P and Fitch, and Baa3 and above by Moody’s. It seeks to replicate the performance of the Markit iBoxx USD Liquid Investment Grade Interest Rate Hedged Index, by employing representative sampling methodology.
