For its fixed income portion, it invests through derivatives in U.S. treasury securities with maturities between 2 to 30 years. The fund uses derivatives such as futures to create its portfolio. It seeks to benchmark the performance of its portfolio against the S&P 500 Index and a composite index comprising of 60% of the S&P 500 Index and 40% of the Bloomberg U.S. Aggregate Index.
