Oman National Engineering & Investment Company SAOG, together with its subsidiaries, provides services to the utility and engineering sectors in the Sultanate of Oman. It operates through five segments: Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC); Operation and Maintenance; Billing; Product and Solution; and Training Centre. The Engineering, Procurement and Construction segment engages in the supply and installation of power generating equipment; and construction of power supply lines and other related projects. The Operation and Maintenance segment operates and maintains power generation stations, desalination plants, hospital equipment, air conditioning plants, sewage treatment plants, pipeline and sewage network systems, water distribution networks, and educational institutions. The Billing segment is involved in the billing and collection of electricity, telecom, PASSI, and water dues. This segment also offers a mobile app, web-based payments, and machine collection. The Product and Solution segment engages in the rehabilitation of desalination stations; supply of high-density polyethylene pipes and manhole covers; design, supply, installation, and commissioning of sewage treatment plants; supply of isolators and fuses; and metering system for distribution networks, etc. In addition, this segment offers SCADA, control, and relay panels; medium high voltage, and custom switchgears; LV and medium voltage APFC products; energy management systems; current and voltage transformers; and geo synthetics. The Training Centre segment provides training in professional courses for third parties and the company’s staff. In addition, it offers electronic payment facilities to customers. The company was formerly known as Oman National Electric Company SAOG and changed its name to Oman National Engineering & Investment Company SAOG in January 2007. Oman National Engineering & Investment Company SAOG was incorporated in 1978 and is based in Muscat, the Sultanate of Oman.
