The firm seeks to invest in privately held companies or in the acquisition of shares of publicly listed companies in transactions which will normally allow for the investor group to exercise significant influence over the management of the investees. It prefers to make investments between $10 million and $60 million. It will invest in assets denominated in foreign currencies.
