The company was formerly known as iMedia Brands, Inc. and changed its name to Legacy IMBDS, Inc. in September 2023. Legacy IMBDS, Inc. was incorporated in 1990 and is headquartered in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. On June 28, 2023, Legacy IMBDS, Inc., along with its affiliates, filed a voluntary petition for reorganization under Chapter 11 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. The plan was later approved as Chapter 11 liquidation on February 21, 2024.
