Galfar Engineering & Contracting SAOG, together with its subsidiaries, engages in engineering, contracting, and construction businesses in the Sultanate of Oman. The company constructs a range of projects, including residential and commercial buildings, hospitals, housing complexes, monuments, religious structures, telephone exchanges, showrooms, educational institutions, and stadiums. It also offers design, civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation services for oil and gas pipelines and flow lines; construction of oil storage tanks, gathering stations, and compressor stations; and designs and constructs power transmission systems. In addition, the company constructs highways, railway, roads, bridges, dams, seaports, and airports; and various utility networks and plants for water, and waste water distribution and treatment, as well as undertakes civil and mechanical construction, public health engineering, electrical, plumbing, and maintenance contracts.
