Raysut Cement Company SAOG engages in the production and sale of cement in the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Yemen. The company offers ordinary Portland cement that is used for plain and reinforced cement concrete works, brick and stone masonry, plastering, and flooring; sulfate resistant cement, which is used for concrete applications, such as general purpose ready-mix and pre-cast concrete, plaster, mortars for use in brick and block-works, screeds, concrete blocks, etc.; and oil well cement class ‘G’ used for cementing work in the drilling of oil wells. It also provides ground granulated blast furnace slag and Pozzolana well cement for cementing shallow oil wells. In addition, the company is involved in shipping transport and limestone quarry, wholesale of cement and plastic, and other trading activities. It also exports its products to other Gulf Co-operation Council countries and Africa. The company was founded in 1981 and is based in Salalah, the Sultanate of Oman.
